My Friends Ron & Brenda recently celebrated thier 25 Wedding Anniversary by renewing their vows…so I thought I’d write something for them, it may be a bit cheesy, but they loved it.
25 Years Ago….
A commitment was made, promises vowed
To love each other forever from now
In Hawaii you took time to enjoy each other
Shortly realized you’d be Father & Mother
Two children you presented and lovingly raised
They’re wonderful adults for that you’re both praised
A decade later your home welcomed others
Again taking on the role of Father & Mother
Compassion and honesty from the very start
Is what makes your love special, from the heart
Whether scaring each other or just being funny
You accomplished something you can’t buy with money
You’ve discovered the secret that few come upon
Here’s to another 25 Years Brenda & Ron
