My 4th poem.

I once asked no one in particular if it was better to cry out in pain or madness.

I know the answer now.

Someone once asked, “how many roads must a man walk down before you call him a man?”

The answer, my friend is always 47.  It’s an odd number and fairly plausible.

I never asked, “why me?” knowing the answer would invariably be, “why NOT you?”

So I just said, “I never asked for this.”

Be careful what you wish for, you just might just three more wishes, and so on….again the mind can only answer 47 questions at a time.

I wish for a dish of something else (you thought I”d say “bliss”, but always keep’em guessing, or else I might, JUST might ask for 47 more wishes).

If anyone says, “carpe diem, since this is the best day you’ll ever have,” it’s more of a curse than a blessing.

Testing, testing…..life is not a test, or it it?

Always leave’em chomping or chomsky, just a bit.

I used to think life was all stick and no carrot.  I know better now.

I know better now than to question what I’ve been given.  Just accept what you are given.  Never look a niftie giftie in the horse’s face.

Always leave more than you’ve taken.

That’s not karma-coma talk or kismet or whatever they are calling it these days, it’s the word of the one and only messiah. Stick THAT in yer Broadway show, Monsoor.

So there says I.
