Chances are…A poem depicting the many pathways and outcome of friendships Lost and Found. This is dedicated to all my dearest friends who have taken the time to know, trust & accept me for who I am and to all those who have offered to help and share their knowledge with me on Triond, Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, Gather, myLot and elsewhere.

Chances are, you will find me waiting for you,

Chances are that I may move on tomorrow,

Chances are, I could let you depend on me,

Chances are that we never share in each others sorrow.

Chances are, I may recall your name again,

Chances are that you may forget my face,

Chances are, I may be your ideal mate,

Chances are you’ll be faster in pace.

Chances are, your greed may overcome you,

Chances are that I will still be there for you,

Chances are, you may be by my side always,

Chances are I’ll be someone you wish you never knew.

Great chances. Well, you took your chances and it’s nice to have an added friend.
