Chasing Dreams in Magazines

You cannot enjoy life from where you are, if you are always worrying about what’s around the next corner.

I have been down this road before

Chasing dreams in magazines

Not caring where the end may lead

Always moving when I am standing still

No time and place could keep me still

Always wondering what’s around the

next corner

Long before I get to the corner that is

still ahead of me

I am always in a hurry chasing dreams,

all I have done is to look and pass

Never gave one minute of thought to

what I missed along life’s road

I cannot predict the future and I cannot

change the past

I cannot go on this way, pretending and dreaming

So, I will put my magazines away and dream no more
