Hovering in silence, waiting for the code of silence.

Sitting on top of the tower with the world in full view

Bird’s eye format visualizing the everyday brew

Locking on targets that grip madly at my attention

Silence goes mute as the wind has a code to mention

Swooping to the ground to blend with the nothingness

Invisible as I breed within the extreme and excess

Taste and grow in this atmosphere as I mix and mingle

Find a band of brothers but still be particular and single

In this age of living ancestors as they shape their spears

Wild, greedy hordes leave the weak and innocent in tears

Their foot soldiers inducing anarchy in my sight

In an eye’s blink they fall down struck by my might

Shock and confusion rings high in the atmosphere

The remaining infected by panic hides here and there

As their commanders struck the masses in revenge

Getting a kick from this weighing the fate of the challenge

Their general, a puppeteer controlling far from the east

What a gigantic beast as the masses will have a huge feast

With countless wives chained to his throne in his palace

Yet I still remove him far from this time and space

Even if I kill him the madness will not go down

But I will not replace him when he’s fallen and wear his crown

So I walk away with his kingdom consumed in flames

He is now a done deal, what a waste and shame

Ignored by the population as I have played my part

Until a new wave of agony will rise high and start

Driving through the people and breaking them within

Initiates the prayer for me to realize, prepare and begin

Untold stories flowing down in the path of the Nile

Or legacies in the Zambezi growing to a thousand miles

Like my totem, I will fly high till I find a tower

To sit and wait, till I unleash my force and power.

Chasura is my totem which is a bird. The poem is about my responsibility to the heritage.
