A fight on the street.

On a dark cold winters night,

The chav’s tool up, ready for a fight,

From across the other part of town,

The enemy gang are on their way down,

The chav’s wait by a the community club,

Some are pissed the’ve been down the pub,

They shout out aloud what they are going to do,

To this uptown shit they call a crew.

So all at once there is quiet in the air,

The uptown gang are just over there,

Both gangs stand with nothing to say,

Who’s going to start this war today,

A voice from the back says fuck off you scum,

A voice from the front says, come on then son,

A scuffle breaks out just a push and a shove,

A woman calls the police from her flat above.

The homeboys make a run for the gang from up town,

They other gang runs dropping things on the ground,

The homeboys catch one who has tripped on the floor,

They kick the shit out of him as he cries please no more.

The homeboys relive the fight on that night,

They tell all their mates it was a terrible sight,

Blood and teeth and knives everwhere,

They were outnumbered but they didn’t care.

So another legend is made on that day,

It has no resemblence of the truth of the fray,

Hero’s were made and reputations gained,

The fight lasted for hours and many were maimed.
