We switch from scantily dressed women to a 3 year old video of a lady who clucks like a chicken. The video went viral on Yesterday (11/3/2011).

But wait, that ain’t no ordinary chicken cluckin’ lady. That’s Lisa Haley, of Lisa Haley and the Zydekats, a fourth generation fiddler.

There is more. As the story goes; Lisa’s mother’s family were Irish immigrants, arriving in Roddy Bayou, Louisiana in 1718 to escape a smallpox epidemic. Close on their heels came the French Diaspora of the late 1700’s; they soon married into the LeBoeuf, Broussard, Lambert and Thibodaux families. Lisa was born in Delaware to expatriate Southern parents serving in the Navy Reserves and Pentagon. It is said that Lisa is a descendant of Francis Scott Key; also “kin to F. Scott Fitzgerald, Bill Haley, and Pocahontas.”

Lisa now makes her home in Hollywood, California. Beside any impression the video may have given you, Lisa Haley is an accomplished all around performer. She acts, sings and dances well as play a violin. She was also nominated for a Grammy.

Yes, that blue violin is Lisa Haley’s “trade mark”.
