Take me back to my childhood dreams

Let me remember the days of happiness

And peace

Me swinging on my swing

Take me back to my childhood dreams

Where love and tenderness surrounded me

Bring me back my little toys

And all my pretty things

Take me back please

Take me back to my childhood dreams

When mom took me to the fair

And I got cotton candy in my hair

I wish I could go there

Back to my childhood dreams

Just so I could play on my swing

And remember all the happy things

Take me back please

To my childhood dreams
