Wrapped in all colors, children are our gifts from God. However, we must take care because he will not spare abusers.

Little girls and little boys are not your toys.  Before they are born their purpose are set, it is up to you to see that they are met.  They are precious in God’s sight, so taking care of them should not be a plight.  Happy they should be and grow up strong as a tree.  God made it plain that you should cause them no pain.  You don’t need school to know this rule; love Him, love them.

They will grow and then they will go.  What will they learn before they turn to the world full of scum?  If you teach them right, they will know how to fight.  If you teach them to pray, they will probably not go astray.  It is your job to see that they are not robbed of the childhood they deserve, and to put their bright futures on reserve.

God’s love for them you can’t compare, but He is willing to share.  So please take care, for they are precious in His sight.

I like how you set this up. Children have a lot to concur we adults need to be the role models they need.

My name says it all, I am almost forty, with no children. If I am lucky enough to have at least one, I will remember this poem. Very beautiful

The flow of this poem makes it easy to read and absorb. I love the fact that children are very much in the front of your writing.
