Chills of terror.
Unbeknownst to most, my smile, my joy covers the pain that sent …chills.
No one sees, no one knows, only souls that are the same, sense the pain.
To see death is to know death,
to see life is to know we have been given life.
I barely knew you, yet you felt my depth of experiences…with eye contact you reached,
grasped tightly my mind.
The need to share dark pain…poured from inside. Chills ran hot, tears ran down,
I knew God had arranged this moment in time.
I wanted desperately to hug you, to hold you,
tell you it almost took me under, to the very edge…
but my screams for help stronger than the pain.
God knew, God saw,
what had happened to young girl.
The blood, the broken bones, the tears of family,
no one should have to endure that vision alone.
He sent comfort on wings, joy in a breeze,
hope in a new day…because He is all knowing.
Decades have past, chills of terror,
the accident still runs cold through my body…
I choke back vivid details and emotions!
Difference is that I survived,
scarred, but alive.
So my friend, no matter how severe…
let me comfort you, bring you joy,
for tomorrow is a new day
I know He has planned for us!
All… my friend for you…to help bare the pain!
