As I woke this morning
I felt Thy love pour out upon me
The Saviour asked me to follow
And my heart cried out a yes

I know that I’m not perfect
I’m full of sin and destruction
But Thy promise of heaven is open
Yes, Thy love can forever save me

Today I know I have a choice
And how will I choose?
Will I choose breathtaking hope
Or will I turn away from Thy grace

Today I choose to walk with Thee
Everything you are, it is enough
I’m trying to forget this old world
Trying to trust in Thy true faithfulness

Empty me of all my corruption
Show to me Thine own true self
We will walk in perfect communion
In unity of the body, mind, and spirit

Only then can I know Thy promises
Then I will see what has been opened up
Each day as I live in service unto Thee
The secret of eternal life is unfolding
