Poem written from art.
She looked out across the field
She saw the grass so tall
She felt the wind blow through
She heard the people
The people far off in the barn
She didn’t want to go back again
She liked the freedom
She liked the space
It was her time to get away
This was her place
Her place to enjoy living
Without those voices
Saying nothing but trouble
So she sat in the grass
And stared at the house
Her hair flying with the breeze
She enjoyed every moment
