Christmas blessings showered down from heaven as Jesus Christ was born to save mankind from sin.
What a blessed night when the shepherds
saw the bright light and multitudes of
angels blessing and praising and singing
giving glory to God for the birth of
Jesus, Emmanuel, Savior, Redeemer of mankind.
How glorious they must have sounded!

The shepherds were fearful at first
Had anyone ever seen such a sight?
Trembling with excitement and bursting with
joy they went to the place where the baby Jesus lay,
where Mary and Joseph, looked down in wonder.

They didn’t understand all the stir and all
the fuss as of yet. Why these shepherds came in,
falling to their knees and worshipping,
but as they began to tell of what happened,
Mary and Joseph’s eyes glistened in the dim light.

Before long, the wise men who had
travelled great distances, following the
bright star announcing the birth of Christ,
entered with great reverence. Mary and Joseph
were amazed when these great men themselves
bowed and worshiped, presenting their gifts to
the newborn babe and King of kings.

Mary and Joseph must have been overjoyed,
thankful and amazed as it was confirmed
they were the ones entrusted with the
savior of the world, Jesus Christ!

May Christmas blessing shower down
on all who read this poem and may the
risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, dwell
in your hearts this coming Christmas morn!
