Here is a holiday verse with a ring to it. I hope the holidays have and will be good for you whether you celebrate Christmas or not. There are so many holidays this time of year starting with Harvest ones of thanks and through other Religious and Secular ones. I wish you all the best!

Thanksgiving is over and
Christmas is coming.
Leftovers put away and
Stores started humming.

Holidays roll round the year,
Bringing their special cheer —
But I love the Winter ones,
Spent with my loved ones.
Christmases come and gone,
Christmases yet to come —
Whether there’s snow and cold,
Weather’s warm or it’s cold.
Holidays roll round the year,
Bringing their special cheer.

Time to go shopping and
Making lists anew.
Buying cards and wrapping,
Ribbons, and bows too.

Smells around the kitchen stove,
Children round the table rove.
Dad chops wood by the side of the house.

Friends that you haven’t seen
Neighbours ask at how you’ve been
Even if you seen them the day before.

Some folks are missing
Finding your eyes tearing
Drinking toasts to their memory.

Off in the distance hear
Ringing in distance clear
Bells on harness and church steeple too.

Oh those bells ring out
With a holiday shout
Haven’t you been hearing them here?
