A chain Haiku for Christmas.
Snow falls in whispers,
Midnight blankets Mother Earth–
Angel lullabies.
On sanded desert floors,
Fall needles sharp as talons–
Christmas cacti bloom.
Decorated palms,
Christmas knows no boundaries–
Seas bring forth their gifts.
Lands down under burn,
Beneath relentless sun rays–
Hurry holy night.
Angels hover near,
Sing their songs of peace to all–
Christmas in the wings.
