I love Christmas! This is a poem about the memories of past Christmas’s that I hold in my heart and I cherish.

Christmas Memories

So many memories come to me

As I stand here by the Christmas tree

Each ornament hung with care

holds a wonderful memory to share

on the fireplace mantle stockings are hung

In gleeful voices carols are sung

Hugs and kisses and happy smiles

The look of wonder in the eyes of a child

Friends and family gathered near

exchanging presents and holiday cheer

Joyful laughter and squeals of delight

colorful lights glowing so bright

We all sit to share a wonderful feast

in honor of Jesus, our savior, our king
