Christmas Ode
Whenever it gets near Christmas, I’m not alone to feel the joy
Stores are fill with suggestions on the list of every girl and boy.
Christmas trees are lined on the streets even where I food shop
I smell the evergreen fragrances before my car comes to a stop.
Carroll’s are piped in to department stores for everyone to hear
Some bring back memories to create a droplet called a tear.
Merriment is on the street corners in my town and in yours
Weather won’t stop the gaiety, even if it down pours.
Christ is very much in all my Christmases every year
Jesus has not a worry and because of Him, I have no fear
Jesus birth was announced in a manger where He was born
Gave His life for my sins so I am no longer considered forlorn.
