Christmas Traditional Past.
The moment had arrived; the holiday spirit with merit;
The Christmas cards that were hung; my life among;
The decorated tree; visualization for all to see;
A brownstone on Pacific; nothing scientific;
Then there’s my Baltimore and Ohio Railroad; underneath the tree, a memory for me;
The snow of the season; my reason in believing;
Food prepared with care; my Grandmother’s style with flair;
Variety of dishes; my smiles in stitches;
Taste of emotion; my thoughts within my notion;
The story of time; a short moment shared is mine;
Holiday cheer full of promise; the thought of St. Nick in being honest;
My Grandmother’s phrase; let’s give God the praise;
Joy unto you and peace;
A star in the land; the story of Bethlehem;
Family presence; the gathering;
A Christmas year I will always remember; it’s my Grandparents love in that certain December;
Even though they are gone now; I thank them for showing me how;
A Christmas tradition; a magician with a mission;
Thank thee unto me and joy to the world for all to see.
