…things cigarettes remind me of.

Cigarettes remind me of all the things that I like.

They remind me of fishing down by the old stone bridge.

They remind me of talking on your front porch swing.

Cigarettes remind me of almost everything.

I like the way the smoke looks when it gets in your eye.

Cigarettes remind me of every time I’ve seen you cry.

Cigarettes remind me of swimming in the river, and the way that water always made you shiver.

I remember when I couldn’t think of a thing to say to you, so I’d just offer you a cigarette

I used to smoke them when I’d stay out all night, and we always have to smoke one at the end of every fight.

They remind me of camping trips and cookouts.

They remind of football games and warm summer nights.

No matter what the moment was, I probably shared it with a cigarette.

Cigarettes remind me of all the time I’ve spent with friends

They remind me of the winter, and the way the snow looks on the trees.

Life is kind of like a pack of cigarettes, you smoke until it’s empty then you throw away the pack.

Please don’t tell me that it’s bad for me,just pass me another cigarette

I’ll set here and smoke these dirty cigarettes until I remember all the things I want to think about.

Some things I’ll remember I could probably do without.

Ain’t it such a strange thing, that a life time full of memories can be contained inside a cigarette?

Oh well, I guess I can’t stop smoking yet.
