    Very glad to see you trying your hand at form. This is very similar to the lanturne, which uses syllables in this pattern not words. But, this is a very good job. Myself, I would have stayed away from abstractions. Thanks for sharing, and have a good day.

    Nice poem. I’ll try this pattern. I guess the cinquain I encountered was old fashioned. It goes like this: first line is one word, the title; 2nd line is about two words that describe the title; third line, 3 action words; the 4th line , four words expressing a feeling; and finally the fifth line is the 1 word title again. I enjoyed your poem. Its good to know cinquain can be flexible. God bless :)
