Children being neglected

futures past affected

innocence way past lost

a child dying, but at what cost

this boys story shall state

of this tragic winter and poor estate

shhhh!! silence

walking in his shoes you couldn’t afford the mileage

quiet whispers silently mutter

but not on word to him did they utter

he used to walk among the living

despair sorrow distraught was the killing

a sweet child with no way to grieve

miserable disdainfully dying to put him at ease

to all children take heed

on rude and unkind ways no others shall feed

adults too you may listen

a child’s life you to may lessen

the moral is to be a friend

so the life in some may live again
