This poem is about how great circles are. Not the crop ones or the stains your coffee cup makes on the table, but the mathmatic ones we never use in everyday life.
Circles are a special thing,
packed full of chords and pi,
circumference is worked out easily,
but still i ponder why,
how long did it take,
that old mathematics whizz,
to find out the number,
that we know pi is.
Two radius and another line,
a triangle you can make,
isosceles is the one,
all the fun circles bake,
and then again I ponder why,
who thought that two lines,
to make a triangle,
they would try.
people made life easier,
pi diameter and pi r squared,
these two are formulas,
circles need not be feared,
circles and lines,
mixed with a good enough brain,
will see you do just fine,
so do not run from the no cornered shape,
just relax and take your time.
