This poem was inspired by the series finale of the ABC television series Lost. This is what I received spiritually from watching the entire series which I think is one of the most important television shows of all time.
Circles revolving and evolving
broken and unbroken
reunions and unions
friends and enemies
importance
defining our existence
will our circles intertwine
evolve into a fusion
release
end this confusion
will the fission
release our fears
create our dreams
will these circles be unbroken
a hymn
that transcends that one belief
that desire that is shared
that common bond
that unites us all
love
unconditional
past the conditions
of our temporal lives
if we only realize this
when there still is a now
still that sense of a now
if we only realize this
while we are in this now
create our life as we can
create these circles
that exist when there is no now
wake up in the dream
and enjoy the trip
wake up to ourselves
and create the trip
when all is said and done
this will let these circles remain
and intertwine.
