C is for the kooky clowns who laugh and make us merry,
D is for the darling donkey who the manager calls Gerry.
E is for the elegant elephants who stomp here and there,
F is for the fluffy feathers the dancers place in their hair.
G is for the gangly giraffe who never seems to tire,
H is for the hoola-hoops covered in smoky fire.
I is for the old time ice cream that used to come in tins,
J is for the jumpy juggling of balls and bowling pins.
K is for the wooden kabobs of grilled delicious food,
L is for the loud laughter of people in good moods.
M is for the mischievous monkeys that love to play around,
N is for the noisy night show that draws people from the town.
O is for the oily ostrich with feathers colored fine,
P is for the pretty ponies that walk in a crooked line.
Q is for the quaint quarter you pay to enter in,
R is for the rowdy Ring Master without whom the show does not begin.
S is for the shaky stands where everyone must sit,
T is for the towering tent that has the circus inside it.
U is for the utmost urgency of the trapeze artist hoping to get caught,
V is for the vexing ventriloquist whose puppet talks a lot.
W is for the weaving waving of the actors to the crowd,
X is for the saxophone-xylophone which is always played extra loud.
Y is for the yodeling yelling of happy children here and cheerful adults there,
And Z is for the zippy zebra who has the prettiest hair.
