Clearing The Clutter

Spring Cleaning…found many priceless items…

Clear the clutter

To welcome the Lunar New Year

Throw away things which are useless

or items which have expired

Some still in good condition but no longer suitable

give away to others

Or do a recycle

Organise my home for the better

New things bought, some old things still existing, I wonder

No choice, I am a person who is sentimental

I can easily throw things but must consider

I am afraid I will regret later

Some items are really priceless

Though the value may be very little

They were given by others

I have kept them for years

In this case I shall keep them in my bomb shelter

Okay, I shall talk to you later

as I am going to clear the clutter

To make my house neater

One thing which is the most difficult to clear

is the clutter in my mind, that’s for sure

I always seem to be clearing out clutter. No matter how often I clear it the clutter soon builds up again. I know how you feel.

You are like me. I have a whole bunch of collections and they pile up and I have to throw many away which I would later regret

Oh the clutter, I try to keep very little because we live in a small apartment but it takes decluttering all the time. I try to buy very few things and just things I need but there is Xmas and birthdays and so gifts.It’s hard to get rid of gifts from people you love, but you just have to grit your teeth and do it.

Ruby and 8Shei8, glad that you and me are the same type, always feel the pinch to get rid of things from people though they may not be useful.

This is great. I try to keep clutter out of the house too but sometimes that isn’t always the case. I definitely need to get started on spring cleaning.

Star, I love this poem very much. Agree with you, I also need to clear the clutter in my room and my mind. After clearing, the clutter reappears soon. It is a repeating nightmare to me.
