Playing in the streets can be deadly for children!

Image via Wikipedia

Paying outside of my mom’s apartment,

This day was full of enjoyment.

Tomorrow we were going to listen to him preach,

Now my testimony is what he will teach.

This was my story and I was clipped,

By a bullet to the hip.

It was the day before I turned five,

The streets decided to take my life.

Oh ALC!!! this really shows a picture of how deadly it can be for our youngsters to be out in the streets.
Poetry is all about vision; you certainly achieve that : ))
