How well do we really know our friends.

I thought you and I would always be friends.

If all else failed, you were the one person

on who I could depend…………….

With combat boots people I have

known, would stomp all over my grave.

Their horrible images I have blocked

such shallow people, memories of

them I will never save………………..

It was so unbelievable when I

heard what you said………….

Is it true you never liked me and

wished that I were dead?

I pretend that it doesn’t hurt, but

I wish you would have told me instead.

Now all of the plastic has melted away.

I forgive you old friend there is nothing

more to say…….

How sad, you have captured exactly that terrible feeling of betrayal by someone who matters.

can tell from your poem, how disappointed you are with someone whom you thought was a friend. I have this experience, that’s why earlier I wrote a poem “friends come, friends go”.

This is why I have very few people I call “Friend”.

It is so hurtful when you hear people you trust putting you down behind your back. They are not really your friends. A poignant piece.

That\’s so sad, forgiveness is the only way so you can let it go and move on. Lovely poem.

It is so distressing to hear that the people whom you trust are so unfaithful and disloyal that they would talk about you like that. A poignant piece.

It is so distressing when you find that the people whom you trust can be so disloyal that they would talk about you behind you. A poignant share.
