You are there, so far away.

You had to go ,I had to stay.

I know you have a job to do.

So I wait here missing you.

Duty called,I understand.

It called you to a foreign land.

To help the people to be free

Stay safe my love, come back to me.

I’m so proud of you my dear.

But how I with that you were here.

So I’ll send my love to you.

Closing the distance between us two.

It is as difficult being the family left behind as it is being the one that’s going. I hope all of our loved ones return soon.
