A reply to Dave Breen’s weight loss poem.
Dave wrote a weight loss poem, The Weight Loss Poem
This is my reply.
Clothes in the wardrobe
hang waiting for me,
they won’t be replaced,
no money you see.
It’s not about image
or what I perceive,
when wearing my clothes
I still need to breathe.
If they are too tight
they may split at the seams
and that wouldn’t look nice,
would spoil all our dreams.
So, out I go walking
and eating less food
and before too long
my clothes will look good.
