Swirling powder, a magical look

Such heavenly snow, a scene just for us

Yet I sit here, months before, with a mere book

These dreams hit me everyday without a fuss

I can imagine the flames flickering in the fireplace

It’s sunset glow seeking shelter on your flawless face

Your peaceful, loving countenance; those mysterious eyes

Those eyes I saw in dreams in which nobody dies

Now we are on a beach; waves crashing upon the shore

The wind dances around your hair, enticing like folklore

Your smile, that radiant laugh, that pierces through all

That found my lost, frozen heart and, with a kiss, caused it to thaw

For it begins to beat once more

With you and forever forming the binds of our door

Come in, come in, you beckon, I stepped

I think of my once-deemed impossible future, now a secret well-kept

For now all of the world has opened shut eyes to see

That it was worth dying to come back for us to be

So I open my eyes to such a beautiful dream

The light refracts off my mirror which will deem
