Poem.

You say you know what you’re doing

You’ll be fine

Say that won’t happen to you

Like I haven’t heard it before

Little here, little there

And soon you’re addicted

Then it’s all the damn time

Until it takes over your life

I’ve heard it all before

Some OD, some only with they did

(But that won’t happen to you)

They because the monster

They’re addicted to

Doing things they never thought they would

Cheat; Rape; gotta have sex

Doesn’t matter how

(But that won’t happen to you)

Run out, it still calls your name

Gotta have it — whatever it takes

Prostitution; sell your sould

Sell your stuff; your heart; your love

Do anything it takes

To get some more, gotta have that high

(But that won’t happen to you)

Permanently high

No time for love

The ones you care about leave

You only give them affection, when you can’t get your high

The addiction, the drug

Takes over your mind — without you even knowing

Shoves and hurts those you love, makes them leave forever

IT gets jealous —-

You can only have IT

Nothing else. No one else.

No way to control it

(But that won’t happen to you

You know what you’re doing

Sweetie; that’s what they all say) </3
