Poem.

Inside my cocoon I am protected
nothing can hurt me from outside
this prison is of my own making
this is where I am going to hide

Why would I want to be free
and suffer the fools all around
my wounds are healed and closed
cocooned I hear not a sound

They say time heals everything
but my scars are too deep inside
safely I stay wrapped and secure
meekly I turn my face and hide

Cocooned in my own solitary hell
suspended I virtually exist
peace and tranquility surround me
emotions I have learnt to resist

I relish the safety of my cocoon
block out all I remember of pain
to leave this haven of protection
whatever could I hope to gain

A great poem, nice description. I think I want to go into a cocoon at the moment.
