You and I were amongst the originals.
Thrown together by fate alone and by chance.
A chance and fate that I thank the stars and heavens for every day.
You were the one.
Born, you say, to do great things,
You have, for me and many more.
With your hand, you led me along a path
A path which taught me about myself, when I lost who I was.
Surely enough, I was revealed to you, and to myself.
You created a world, of clear blue skies for me.

A world of inspiration unlocked.
I began to understand my calling, my meaning in life
I still try to create such a meaning for myself
It just takes time you say.
We’ve had our arguments, our differences, and our fights.
But never in a million years would I ever think of you as anything other than my brother.
I cannot even seclude myself from the family we have, you’re just too much to me to ignore.
People would not understand our bond.
I do not care, if they cannot understand then that is their fault.
If they do not approve, then I do not condone them being my anything.
You are my brother.
By blood not, but by soul.
And the soul speaks the truth.
For a time, I did not  believe I had a soul, but you gave me one.
A fragment of yourself, split into many pieces.
I treasure it more than my own life.
For you, I would climb the highest peak
Swim the longest of oceans
Fight the most powerful enemies, just to see you smile.
You’re the one that gives me reason to leave the familiar
To venture out into the world I dare not know
For promises you give, I will follow you.
To my brother I bestow a gem.
It is large and detailed beyond its years.
It gives meaning to our bond.
It is my love, a fragment that is enormous in size.
Split from my heart I give to you,
A gift, in exchange to hold onto you.
May love, life, and happiness always follow you
You’re one of the most special people in the world to me,
Take warmth in the knowledge my words speak only truth.
