If not for the Boston Tea Party, I may never have written this. I would have written something even shorter.

Caffeinated java joy
Olfactorial bliss!
Fill my cup and I will sup
Fill my veins with your
Electric kiss.
Earthy, elemental rite is this.

Something shorter:

Teach me to relax,
Enjoy and unwind,
As I inhale your spicy breath.

Original poem sappy; too annoying to inspire.

Shorter version much better, up to the author’s usual high standard; this one makes me want to commune with a hot cup, because its “spicy breath” proposes an enticing relationship…
