Child abuse happens in many forms. People dont like hearing about it or reading about it. But yet nothing is done to stop it. Things happen to both boys and girls everyday but its not the kind of thing you think about.
A little girl, only six years old
Sits and wonders, is the whole world cold?
Drug addict mother, alcoholic father
With this child, no one cared to bother
So alone and hungry, she goes to her room
While her father sits drinking
And her mother does shrooms
Her father comes in, that look on his face
Before she can say no, she’s caught in his embrace
She knows the drill, it’s happened before
She’s molested and beaten
And called a whore
Left there crying
On her bedroom floor–
Years pass by, but things stay the same
The little girl lives in fear and pain
Hurt and shame
In her eyes,
She has nothing left to lose or gain
She goes to her room and closes her door
Looks in the mirror and says i am a whore
Gun in hand, She closes her eyes, takes her last breath
Things that could have been prevented
Result in her death.
