Have you quite finished analyzing the poem Emm? Oh, I’m sorry; I didn’t know that every native, 7 year old child can write like Shakespeare! We can be really racist sometimes. We can’t even spell names in other languages and we criticize a little boy, capable of writing a poem in a English. The point isn’t the grammatical mistakes of a poor African boy, but is why he should think of such things at this very age.

Young or old, the poem is really racist! I’m sick of everyone talking about black/white/purple…we are all human beings. Get over it already!

This poem was originally written by a young african boy who also won a award
for the best poem … this was in year 2005 I guess… I m not sure about the year……..

I think the intent of this piece was humorous. The problem is … it’s difficult to accept that as the motivation without knowing the author. I just wonder why they thought this was relevant at this time. Trying to swing that tired, old clock backwards? Don’t know, but questionable.
