At work the other day

I was yelled at without delay

A nasty response I sometime face

I combat rudeness with niceness is my way

I stay calm never rise my voice

It seem to reduce the rudeness not the source

It better to offer sugar then bitterness

To be patience and logic in nature sometimes helps

When violence and wild emotion takes over

The anger I am exposed to on a daily basis

I will control with peace and niceness

In the future when you are faced with this crisis

Be calm and thoughtful before your reaction

See beyond the moment toward resolution
