I wrote this poem after dating a guy that I just was not good enough for. I felt so bad that I could not make him happy. I could not steal his heart like he had stolen mine. He broke up with me, and now I just want him back.
yes, I’ve realised fairy tales aren’t real..
& yes, ive realised it was your heart that i could not steal.
Its just, I wanna be your girl again.
Wanna call you up and talk hours past ten.
Twist me in a knot, twirl me like a flag..
Nothing else could feel this bad.
I miss your touch,
And the way you could make me blush.
I wish you’d come back to me,
your my only crush.
