"WARNING" subject matter may trigger negative emotions, any resemblance to actual persons is purely coincedental, I hope I don’t offend anyone but this poem came to me violently while at a traffic light so I had to write it down and share it. Unfortunately this is part of the dark side of humanity and purely fiction from my standpoint.

Come here little girl and sit on my lap,

let me molest you while your parents will nap.

This will be our secret that you can’t tell;

I’m a sick predator from the depths of hell.

Shut your mouth and be real quiet,

if you tell the truth then I will deny it.

Years from now when you become grown,

you’ll be mentally messed up

because you were molested at home.

I’ll return on another day,

I’ll smile at your parents and you’ll be my prey.

Usually assaults will happen closer to home,

even though I’m your uncle who won’t leave you alone.

Are you thinking what I am thinking? LOL. Any Triond predators, speak now! Be very careful and don’t give out any personal information online and don’t get naked on the web cam.

  • Snooky on Jun 28, 2010

Too many of them out there roaming around stalking our children–good presentation

Poets can describe Hell and someone will say nice! This is a very deep subject and a Hell for many. It is presented here in its sterility yet the main point is clear. Well done. Point taken. friend, fan.

  • TwiKnight on Jun 28, 2010

Awesome write, mate! The word is… paedophile, right? Don’t know if it’s a taboo to even type it out, but hey, the world’s entering a sicker stage in evolution every day…

You said it well. Many suffer this for years but in silence. It is unfortunate that more often than not, molesters are people well known to their victims.

The world is a dirty place….

  • Green Thumb on Jun 29, 2010

This is disgustingly true. What is this world coming to? Seems like you can’t trust no one.

  • Concerned White America on Jun 29, 2010

As a victim I still feel dirty and ashamed and I can’t move on…As painful as it was for me to read this article I have to admit it makes me fight harder to protect the rights of others through the Dept. of Social Services. If someone is suspected of crime turn them in right away, whether it’s family or not…do the right thing.

  • Atanacio on Jun 29, 2010

well the content was well written but I acyually enjoyed reading this is that too strange to say?

  • Ruby Hawk on Jun 29, 2010

You’re right, it’s upsetting and something we don’t want to think about. but shamefully it does happen and we can’t ignore it.

    Authoress Lyle your really bold
Agree with all that you just told

    Sad but true …

How sad most elderly of the suffering prey dont even notice and sadly so ….too often when some one in boldness akin urs points… them hypocrites brush it off ….and the tormentor goes on and on .
Aftermath is what …. most dangerous …manifold and irreparable .

It is something that makes us so very sad and we don’t want to even think about it, let alone talk about it (as Ruby said), but if we feel led to, we should. I wrote a poem about an elderly lady taking her own life a little while ago. My husband was upset by it, but I couldn’t get the poem out of my head until I had written it down. Thanks for sharing Terry.

  • nutmegeyes on Jul 1, 2010

OMG….what a horrible situation to actually have to think about, it’s a topic that we usually shy away from…however the problem still exist. Its a sickness that’s unfortunately everywhere we look and it’s terrible that our kids aren’t even safe around family. This was very well written and I give you credit for being bold enough to remind us to be observant to our children’s behavior shifts and listen and encourage communication when things seem out of order and don’t close our minds to the fact it could be someone you respected if they are the ones pointed out. Great article.

  • Yalonda on Jul 1, 2010

This is a poem that wasn’t afraid to delve into the dark mind of a predator, which is very original. But yes, it is truly a shame that so many of these assaults happen when it is a close friend or family member that the children are fooled into trusting.

  • Nosa on Jul 2, 2010

The good side of me say this poem is quite straight to the point and reveals a possibility inversely but the bad side of me -can’t reveal what’s on mind-too bad for triond, especially for readers.
I like this,though-I get the point.

  • Carol M Creasey on Jul 2, 2010

A good expression of how someone might suffer, many thanks.

  • Jerry Bradford aka Jerry Atrixx on Jul 2, 2010

The purest form of evil so often is perpetrated against children. Molestation is an epidemic in my opinion and needs to be stamped out and the consequences should be harsher for the guilty.

Ugly imagery, but a necessary read for all. Your expression of this imagery is really great, just the pure hell and ugliness of it all, is what I mean. You have a really great talent. Especially since you are like most gifted artists. They think and something pops in their head and they have to remember it then immediately write it down when possible. Finely crafted prose.
    Peace

I think this happens more often than most people think. Nicely written.

  • Authoress Terry E. Lyle on Jul 5, 2010

As a community, as caring individuals we must stomp out the madness of molestation against our kids from the sicko paedophiles and predators on the loose where ever they show there ugly heads. Before vigilante practice of law becomes rampant.

  • Phoenix Montoya on Jul 6, 2010

So scary but a good post. A reminder that evil people are out there so we must watch out for our kids.

All male family members aren’t sicko’s but always stay alert to changes in your child’s behavior.

  • drelayaraja on Jul 7, 2010

    wonderful :)

  • S A JOHNSON on Jul 21, 2010

Not all predators are male. They can be anyone. That’s why it’s important to be involved in your kids life. Just seeing them and being “around” every day isn’t always enough. I agree with Authoress, be alert to changes in your kids, especially when the changes happen around certain people. Most often, parents do notice the changes and suspect what’s going on but because they also love the predator too, they do nothing about it and pretend not to notice, always hoping that the kid won’t confront them. Sometimes, often if it’s a partner or spouse, when they are confronted, they force themselves to believe that the kid is lying.

  • Kaye TM on Aug 29, 2010

    interesting poem, cool piece

  • Authoress Terry E. Lyle on Sep 29, 2011

For the writer who wasn’t sure about the content of this poem well let me spell it out….it’s about “SEXUAL ASSAULT” on a minor!!! Are you willing to join in the fight to keep all children safe or speculate that you’re not sure 100% about what might be going on in front of your face?
