This one was brewing in my head for quite a while. Myself personally, I tend to say to my friends “Alright all you comedians, settle down” they take me as if I’m meaning of their humor but what I’m really meaning is as of this poem. It took me a little while to organize it which is why I didn’t write it down that fast. In reasoning that the topic I was going on about was a little complicated. Anyhow, I hope the reader enjoys it……comments are open…….
Comedians of Life
This isn’t
One of your
Standup meanings
Nope
I’m taking it deeper
Then that.
Each and every
One of us
Laugh and joke
About the world.
Even if we have
No personality
For humor
We still laugh at it.
Life is not made
To be enjoyed
Life is made
To be suffered through.
Yet we control
Our actions
Those actions
Lead to
Reactions
And those reactions
Are the results
Of what could affect
A long term period.
Life sucks
And whoever
Thinks otherwise
Needs to have
Their head examined.
Yet in our miseries
We laugh at life
Life makes a joke
Out of us
For a lot of us
Can’t beat life
Only the smart
Willing
And dedicated
Can beat life.
The rest of us
Are just Comedians
In the same twisted world.
For when life
Laughs at us
All we can do
Is just laugh back.
After all
Life
Is a dark
Twisted
Sick
Demented
Joke
That no one gets.
I totally understand your point, and it’s true that the reality of life is full of sufferings, but a bit of jokes and a bit of laugh makes those everyday burden a bit easy.
