Every month I go food shopping for me and my family.  Before I go food shopping I put many things into perspective. I look through circulars or I make notes of food advertisements that are shown on television. When I go shopping I look for the best prices and the best quality. I always search in my best interest when it comes to my finances.  I ask myself, “How much can I possibly save?” This determines which store I will shop at for the month.  I like to shop at Stop &Shop and ShopRite.  When I shop at these two stores I look at the pros and cons of their customer service, their prices, and if they are organized.

     While shopping at Stop & Shop you can expect great customer service.  People who work at Stop & Shop are very friendly, helpful, and courteous. They have knowledge of all the items in their store, and they are willing to help you find any item. They also like to inform their customers about great sales that are being advertised in their store. On the other hand, ShopRite customer service is not too friendly. Everyone in their store is not welcoming and they are not always willing to help you find what you need.

     Stop & Shop usually has great prices on their products, but sometimes their prices are very high. Stop & Shop usually has sales on multiple items in the store such as, household products, bakery items, produce, etc. ShopRite usually has major sales on selected items such as, baby products or dairy products. ShopRite sends coupons in the mail to save on items, and their prices are fairly reasonable.  They usually don’t inform you about their sales, but they do offer to help you save by using their ShopRite Plus card. When shopping at both stores you can possibly save a lot of money.

      Stop & Shop stores are huge in size and they all have wide aisles. It is so easy to move around and shop at Stop & Shop.  When shopping at Stop & Shop up to four people can shop in the same aisle without getting in each other’s way. Stop & Shop is a very organized store. Every item has a label, a price, and it’s placed in the right place. Remarkably it is a very clean store.        

     However, ShopRite is not a very organized store. Everything is all over the place and it is very hard to find selected items. The products at ShopRite are not labeled correctly all the time. Sometimes their products are placed on the shelf without a price.  ShopRite is a cluttered store and all of their aisles are bunched up together. It is very hard to shop at ShopRite especially, if there are more than three people shopping in the same aisle. ShopRite’s stores are very filthy and unclean.

     Overall, both stores are different, but in some ways they are the same. When I go shopping I look for the best prices and the best quality. In my opinion I think that Stop & Shop may have the best quality compared to ShopRite, although ShopRite sometimes has the best prices compared to Stop & Shop.  This is way I shop at both stores.
