Jabberwocky Parody.

T’was night, and glowing monitors

Did light up the dark

All silent were the printers

And the machines are idle.

“Beware the viruses, my son,

The dangling else, the unmatched brace.

Beware the floundering pointers

And shun the nonsense case.

He took his keyboard in hand

Long the hidden viruses he sought

So looked he at the source code

And stared awhile in thought.

And, as in silent thought he stared,

The viruses, with cries of glee,

Came flooding into his code

And destroyed it as they came.

Copy! Paste! Cut! Paste! And save and save.

His keyboard went clickety-clack.

He slayed the bugs and with his mighty code

He went happily back.

“And you have killed the viruses, my son?

Show me the code, my wonderful boy.

O beautiful work! Hurrah! Hurray!

He Basked in his joy.

T’was night, and glowing monitors

Did light up the dark

All silent were the printers

And the machines are idle.
