Must confess to be set free then cleansed.

I have sinned.

This is my confession,

of things I have within.

I am saying please,

on this floor before you

on these bended knees.

Release me from this disease.

I have passed judgement.

Looked upon other with resentment.

But I am so sure.

Confessing my sins,

will provide a cure.

I have committed theft.

Was willing to accept.

The push that evil gave me.

But on my knees I confess,

Lord please release me.

I submit to thee.

I am confessing willingly.

Through confessions there is hope.

Yes now I see.

Confession is good from the soul.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (I John 1:9)

I thought that was a really fantastic poem. Wording spot on! it was passionate and concise, well done. The picture is great too.

Sin is merely the invention of the religious, actually there is fair and unfair, Just or unjust. As for judging, the psychological mind must judge continuously on a daily basis, it is as natural and as necessary to one’s survival as water. A better philosophy might be to judge, but judge accurately and well! Here we leave behind imaginative sayings by men in other ages and instead choose ethical and accurate directions to go.
