Draw Your Own Conclusion (Gentleman is spelled correctly)…

Measuring the worth
Ten thousand stones on a scale
self worth, shivering
patiently waiting for the scale to tip

worn out platforms
describe many a witch hunt
chipped and holding chasms
of a century of forgotten souls

this weigh in
determines our fate
symbiotic relationship
may be too much weight for the scale

the unit of measurement isn’t
“i’m quite frightful”
what the audience expects
“likewise, my brother”

and as ambiguous as an old poem
the scale sits motionless
teetering towards one side

“our lives hang in the balance, brother”
holding hands the gentleman awaits
“just remain quiet, my brother”
the outcome of this experiment
