A woman doesn’t need an additional conscience.

I don’t need anyone to tell me what to stand for
Most defiantly don’t need an additional conscience
Mine is in over drive on cruise control
I’ll be the first to admit when I am wrong
Steadfast to remain steady
Don’t rush to Judgment just because
I’m still looking for something to be
I had a need to heed what was sewn before me
An untimely loss, provided ample room for me to quit
Never seeing the land slide ahead of formidable excuses
Certainly digging me deeper into this debt
But I have seen this before; and will defiantly come out above
I will lay the lines; and find my way
Crawling along the parameter of my domain
Finding my exit to the busy street; filled with distractions
Either way taking in the light of day, as the crisp air kisses my cheek
Reality should never crush your spirit, rather it should be absorbed
Inhaled through to your soul; keeping yet another memoir
