Gimmicks are the jokes with a small audience
While gossip fans the pages of newspaper
Gimmicks entertain, as does gossip
Gimmicks are a distraction from ourselves, and gossip follows suit
However, gimmicks lose their shine after multiple viewings
Gossip squeezes the trust out of an already uptight society
I tire of gimmicks and corporate machinations
I tire of unsubstantiated rumors, of false data
Missing the small video store chains
Wanting harmless small talk, no venom on the side
No one will own my signature for gimmicks and gossip
