Slowly walking the forest path…

Slowly walking the forest path

Blindfolded by my own hand

Searching, wandering my way to where

Living in a fools paradise

Created for myself and by myself

Passing and never paying attention

Seeing everything, yet seeing nothing

Tangled feet in the forest

Like trees tangled with vines

Forcing, compelling me to stand still

To take time to look and listen

Overpowered by the music and sounds of the forest

Nature has given me a second chance

I can now see the forest

Your piece makes me want to take a walk in the forest, Shirley. I just want to step into that picture.

I love walking in the woods. We often go to walk in the parks.

I agree, you do your best thinking in the quiet of the woods.
