A poem about frustration.
Staring over the edge
Pulling my hair out
Another lonely walk
Another night of solitude
It’s not fair
Bursting at the seems
Need to scream
Empty my lungs of this frustration
I’m gonna crack
I guess desperation is transparent
As another one ignores me
People care not about you
Shun the fragility of sanity
Shallowness steps on the broken pieces of fragmented souls
Dead inside
A cold monster suppresses rage
Boiling to the surface
It has been some time since that visit
Facing the reality of gripping my pillow at nights
Lonely and disparaging dreams fill a sleepless void
