This is a poem is about someone losing their loved one and feeling like it was the end of the world, like they had lost their soul, and during the poem they talk about death and how it calls to you when you feel like you dont have a reason to live but you fight and fight to stay alive because you know they’d want you to, instead of submission, you fight for your life and begin to live life just like before.
Tidal waves are beckoning calls,
This abrasive life
Was lived as such.
Before the tide,
Swept me away,
Before this head,
Knew how to pray.
Losing something so beautiful,
Feels like letting the tide
Wash away all happiness.
Don’t let go,
Hold on tight,
Before these waves
Come crashing down.
I haven’t lost,
Not yet,
I’ll fight the current,
And come out
Victorious.
