A poem on my craving for meat.

You are tender

You are sweet

You make me want to tend

To all your needs.

Give me a pound

Give me an ounce

This is a round

I can pounce

I love you

I hate you

Don’t leave me

I need you

Some love you

Some hate you

To nourish

Is to kill

You change

You transform

But I’ll take my chances

You’ll be the same.

The craving seems strong and you express it beautifully. Good work.

I went once without any kind of meat for a week and suffered a really bad case of withdrawal that I had to rush to the nearest Wendy’s.
